Conaz lotion is used to treat fungal infections. It works by weakening the fungal membrane that is developed on the site of infection. It can treat all kinds of fungal infections from acute to chronic. The main or active ingredient present in this medication is Ketoconazole Topical. This medication belongs to the category of medicines known as an antifungal. 

Uses

This medication is helpful in treating all kinds of fungal infections from yeast infection to jock itch. The medication should be applied only on the external side. This medication can also be used to treat dry and flaky skin. It is also helpful in a dried and flaky scalp. It is not considered safe to be used on sensitive areas such as genitals or under the eyes. 

Ketoconazole is used to treat certain serious Fungal infections in the body.

Dosage

  • The dosage requirement depends on the severity of the case but most of the doctors prescribe using the ointment thrice a day to get rid of the infection.
  • Wash hands properly before and after applying the ointment.
  • In case, you do not feel any difference in the condition after applying for three days then you must visit the doctor again.
  • Do not overdose on the ointment because it can cause skin sensitivity.
