Zestril tablets broaden your blood vessels increasing blood flow towards the heart. The drug belongs to the class of ACE (Angiotensin Converting Enzyme) inhibitors. Zestril tablet's generic name is Lisinopril, which is the active component of the drug.

Uses:

Zestril tablets are used to medicate high blood pressure problems.
The medicine is also used to treat cardiac failure alone or along with other medications.

Zestril tablet's composition is listed below. The active component is lisinopril. Other inactive ingredients are the following.

Mannitol.
Calcium hydrogen phosphate is used as dihydrate.
Magnesium stearate.
Maize starch
Red iron oxide is present in reddish-colored tablets. (E172).
