Bonjela gel is an antiseptic pain-relieving gel. It provides relief from minor mouth problems such as toothache, swollen gums, canker sores, minor gum or mouth injuries. It works like anesthesia. It numbs the area and provides relief. The main ingredient in this is choline salicylate, which is not considered safe for children under the age of 2 years.

Bonjela has made a special gel for teething babies, known as bonjela teething gel. This gel can be used on babies over the age of 3 months. The gel is colorless and tasteless. It is used while the baby is teething. The process of teething is quite painful and discomforting. The gel provides a soothing effect to the babies and makes them calm. 

Bonjela junior gel is also for babies. It can be used on babies over the age of 2 months. It is used to treat mouth ulcers, swollen gums. It is also used to treat pain caused by braces in children. 

How to use bonjela gel?

Read the leaflet carefully before using the medication. Apply the gel on the affected area 4 times a day and not more than that.  Apply the gel on the affected area and leave it for at least 2 minutes before rinsing the mouth. This will make the affected area numb and provide you relief.
