Canesten tablets belong to the category of medicines known as antifungals. The generic name of this medicine is clotrimazole. It is helpful in treating all kinds of vaginal yeast infections. It kills the fungus or yeast and halts the growth of it. 

Uses

• Canesten tablets provide relief from the yeast infection or thrush problem in both men and women. Although women are more likely to get a yeast infection than men, men can also get the problem through intercourse, weak immune system or diabetes.
