The antibiotic is used to treat infections in the upper (ear, nose, throat tonsils) and lower respiratory tract (lungs and chest) caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Haemophilus influenza.
Ceclor suspension is used to treat skin infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.
It is also used to treat urinary tract bacterial infections caused by Klebsiella species, E. coli, and others.
It is used to treat acute and chronic bronchitis caused by H. Influenza and S. pneumoniae strains.

It is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.

Dosage

Ceclor suspension dosage must be as per your doctor's recommendation. You can take medicine after every 8 to 12 hours or as directed by your doctor. As it is a suspension, you must shake it well before using. Complete the full antibiotic course.

Do not take medicine if you are allergic to cephalosporins, cefaclor monohydrate, or any ingredient of the medicine.
You should not take medicine if you are allergic to penicillin antibiotics. It may cause rash, swelling on different parts of the body, and shortness of breath.
If you have a liver disorder like porphyria, do not use Ceclor suspension.
Just look at the expiry date before taking medicine.
Brief your doctor about your medical history and diseases (if any).
If you are a kidney (renal) patient or experience GI problems (intestinal and stomach), consult your doctor first as it is not advisable for these patients.
Take the medication only on the doctor's advice if you are pregnant or breastfeeding your baby. As the medication passes to milk, consult your doctor first.
Briefly tell your doctor about the medication you are using before, as it may cause reactions leading to severe allergies.
Do not have any vaccination while using the medicine as it reduces its effectiveness.
