It contains the active ingredient, "vitamin D3" which is the most absorbent form of vitamin D. It is used for the treatment of vitamin D deficiency. It helps to increase the calcium absorption in the body and may reduce the risks of certain disorders that are linked with low calcium & vitamin D levels in the body, i.e. osteoporosis, osteopenia, osteomalacia, rickets, etc.
