It is a form of antihistamine used to decrease the symptoms of allergy, such as watery eyes, runny nose, snowfall, hives, and juice. It acts by blocking from an allergic reaction of a certain natural product (histamine).
This medicine is often used to treat allergic reactions that cause watery, itchy eyes, skin allergies, hives, etc. This medication works by reducing the effects of the allergy-causing agents that could be some kind of bacteria or virus.
It is also used in the treatment of runny nose as it can be in some cases very disturbing and requires proper treatment.
In the case of a quick-dissolving tablet, you can allow the tablet to dissolve with or without water on the tongue and swallow. Right before using, don't detach a tablet from the blister packs. If you take the liquid form of this drug, use a special measuring instrument/spoon to carefully measure the dose. You do not get the right dose with your household spoon.
The dose is dependent on age, health, and treatment response. Do not take or increase your dosage as much as directed.
In case of a missed dose, make sure not to take the medication twice at one time as it may cause an allergic reaction, and it's advisory to use it once in a time. In case you skipped a dose, continue with your normal dosage and try not to skip further for more benefits from this medicine.
People with other medical records, for example, diabetes, hypertension, heart or kidney disorders, should consult their doctor first and discuss with them their condition in order to avoid any complications that might occur due to their prevailing health conditions.
