Magura tablets are also known as anticonvulsant or antiepileptic. This medication controls and prevents seizures by controlling the activity inside the nervous system. It makes you feel calm and relaxed, and more focused. This medication belongs to the category of medicines known as benzodiazepines.

How does it work?

This medication works by controlling the activity inside the brain. It calms down the brain and nerves and makes you feel relaxed. It acts on the nervous system and controls the electrical activity going inside the brain. The imbalance of electrical activity is responsible for epilepsy and seizures. It is very hard to treat it without medication. 

Uses

  • It is used in the treatment of Peripheral Neuropathy and Megaloblastic Anaemia.
  • This medication helps control and prevent seizures.
  • It is effective against panic attacks and nervous breakdowns.
  • It is also sometimes referred to insomnia patients to help get rid of unnecessary stress and make them sleep better at night. 
  • It is also used in the treatment of withdrawing alcohol.

Dosage

  • The dosage requirement depends on the doctor’s prescription. The dosage is prescribed according to the age and weight of the patient.
