It is used for Benign prostatic hyperplasia, port partum haemorrhage, active stage of third stage of labour in inj form.

Precautions

Patients with Coronary insufficiency, first stage of labour, sepsis are not recommended to use this. Caution should be exercised in presence of impaired hepatic or renal function. Mothers should not breast-feed during treatment with this drug.

Side Effects

Seizure and/or headache, Hypotension, Abdominal pain (caused by uterine contractions), nausea and vomiting have occurred occasionally.
