It contains the generic, "co-trimoxazole" which is an antibiotic drug and is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the body. It can treat certain respiratory tract infections (e.g; pneumonia), urinary tract infections, wounds, and other soft tissues infections. It cannot treat cold or flu (or disorders caused by viruses or fungi).
