The Spasfon injection is an anti-spasmodic medication. The injection comes with the generic name of its ingredients described in the next section. It comes in the packaging of 6 injections in one pack.

  • Phloroglucinol hydrate 40mg.
  • Trimethylphloroglucinol 0.04mg.

Uses:

The detailed Spasfon injection uses are listed below. Administration of injection only in case of the following conditions is recommended.

  • The Spasfon injection is used for the Symptomatic treatment and relief of acute pain caused due to functional disorders related to bile ducts and the digestive tract.
  • The Spasfon injection is also used in the treatment of acute spasmodic and painful conditions related to the urinary tract, such as renal colic.
  • The medication is also recommended for the treatment of Symptomatic relief of contractions during pregnancy.
  • The injection is used for treating irritable bowel syndrome.

It is used for the Symptomatic treatment of Pain related to functional disorders of the Gastrointestinal tract and Biliary tract.

Dosage:

the dosage is decided according to the disease, age, weight, and particular disorder. The prescribed Spasfon injection dose is one to three amp per day or as recommended by a doctor. The medication is not suitable for children. 

The Spasfon injection must not be recommended to others based on similarity of condition. Try to administer the injection at the same time every day for effective results.

  • giddiness.
