It is used to treat certain severe types of acne in women that have not been successfully treated with antibiotics and other treatments. This medication works by regulating hormones that affect the skin and irregular periods.

Precautions

Before you use it tell your doctor if you have allergies to any other medicines, foods, preservatives or dyes. It is not for use in men. Do not breast-feed if you are taking this medicine. Antiviral medicines which contain ombitasvir, paritaprevir, or dasabuvir, and combinations of these. Do not take it if you are concerned about or have an increased risk of blood clots.

Side Effects

Nausea, stomach pain, changes in weight, breast tenderness and mood changes.
