Lamisil cream is used for the treatment of fungal infection. The infection can occur on the skin, especially on foot.

The cream belongs to a class of drug of Allylamine Antifungal. However, the generic name of this cream is Terbinafine.

Uses of the cream

The cream is used to treat the fungal infection on the skin. It can also be used for the athlete's foot, for pityriasis Versicolor, jock itch, Candida skin infections and ringworm.
Moreover, the medication is used for the treatment of skin condition known as tinea versicolor or pityriasis.
This fungal infection can cause darkening and lightening of the skin of the legs, arms, neck, and chest.
The cream is prescribed and use for the toenail fungus, infection in fingernails, which is also called onychomycosis, and sensitive fungal infections in the legs, scalp, and arms.
It can also use for the soles of feet called Tinea pedis, groin area or Tinea cruris and Tinea corporis.
This medication is used to treat a variety of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch.

How does it work

The cream contains the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride, which is an antifungal, and it works to prevent the fungus from growing; and this cream works by controlling and blocking the growth of the fungi.
The anti fungi kill the fungi, which are causing infection, and it causes fungi to grow and develop in holes of the cell membranes of the fungal.

How to use
