Metodine syrup is a syrup which is used for Intestinal infection, Lung infection, Abdominal infections, Pelvic area infection, Infections of gum and dental cavities, bone, and stomach infection.
The generic category of this medicine is Anti-Amoebic, and the ingredients which are used in it are in each 5 ml of syrup contains Metronidazoleof 100 mg and Diloxanide Furoate of 125 mg.
For Non-pregnant women, dose: 500 mg orally once in a day for 7 days, or
2 g of medicine once in a day (single dose) or
Extended-release dose: 750 mg orally once in a day for 7 days
For Pregnant women, dose: 500 mg orally two times a day for 7 days, or
250 mg orally three times a day for 7 days.
500 mg of medicine orally every twelve hours and take for 14 days
30 mg or kg day in a day or oral, which should be divided every six hours. The dose should not exceed 4 g in a day.
