This drug is indicated in Pregnancy/delivery of an Rh-positive baby irrespective of the ABO groups of the mother and baby, Abortion/threatened abortion at any stage of gestation, Ectopic pregnancy, Transfusion of Rh incompatible blood or blood products, Antepartum fetal-maternal hemorrhage (suspected or proven) resulting from antepartum hemorrhage (e.g., placenta previa), amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, percutaneous umbilical blood sampling, other obstetrical manipulative procedure (e.g., version) or abdominal trauma

Precautions

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. For Intramuscular Injection Only. Do not inject the newborn infant. Common medications checked in combination with immune globulin intravenous. Aspirin Low Strength (aspirin) Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole / trimethoprim) Benadryl (diphenhydramine) CellCept (mycophenolate mofetil) Cymbalta (duloxetine) Gammagard (immune globulin intravenous and subcutaneous) Klonopin (clonazepam).

Side Effects

Fever, back pain, nausea and vomiting, hypo- or hypertension, hemoglobinuria/emia, elevated bilirubin and creatinine and decreased haptoglobin.
