Synflex Tablet is pharmacologically classified as Anti-analgesic medicine that is used to relieve pain from various conditions such as headache, muscle aches, menstrual cramps, tendonitis and dental pain. Synflex Tablets are film-coated tablets containing Naproxen Sodium as its main active ingredient, which plays a major role in reducing inflammation and pain.

Synflex Tablet uses

Synflex Tablets are used in various conditions like

Relieving pain of headaches, dental pain, tendonitis, menstrual cramps.
It is used in conditions like Acute gout and acute spasm in diagnostic procedures.
It is used in the differential diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome.
It is effective in Musculoskeletal disorders and soft tissue inflammation like pain in joints, bones.
The antipyretic and anti-inflammatory activities of Synflex Tablet is effective in reducing fever and inflammation.
It is beneficial in reducing pain, swelling and stiffness of the joints.
It is used in the pain treatment that is associated with arthritis, bursitis.
This tablet is also useful to treat and control gout attacks.
It is used in Ocular Hypertension.

Synflex for dental pain

Synflex Tablet contains Naproxen sodium as the active ingredient which plays the major role of subsiding the pain or inflammation. Therefore, Synflex tablet works best for treating dental pain.

Synflex for migraine

Synflex Tablet is effective in treating migraine. At the first sign of a migraine, the dose recommended is 825 mg. 275mg to 550mg dose can be taken in a day. The total dose in a day should not exceed 1375mg.

Storage

Synflex Tablets should be stored at room temperature, not exceeding 30c. It should be kept in a dry place, away from moisture and excessive heat. Make sure to keep out of reach of children.

Precautions

Tell your doctor/Pharmacist your medical history of, Asthma, Aspirin-sensitive asthma, Anemia), Bleeding/Clotting problems, Nasal polyps, Previous heart attack, Hypertension, Liver disease, Stroke, Edema, Fluid retention, Bleeding, Heartburn, Ulcers. This drug passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. It is not recommended for use during the first and last trimesters of pregnancy due to possible harm to the unborn baby and interference with normal labor/delivery.

Synflex tablet in Pregnancy

Synflex tablets are not recommended during pregnancy unless your doctor specifically prescribes it as this drug produces a delay in parturition.

Labor and Delivery:

Synflex Tablets should not be given in labor and delivery.

Nursing mothers:

Synflex should not be given to mothers who are nursing their infants.

Side Effects

Upset stomach, Nausea, Heartburn, Headache, Drowsiness, or Dizziness may occur.
